Spring is here and NYC is blooming new hoop classes with a new night at Big Sky Works taught by Celia Kutcher in Williamsburg, a new class at Sound Dance Studio, also in Williamsburg, and a new class in QUEENS. That's right now you can hoop weekly at the Art of Fitness Studio.

Open Space Meditation Hoop Jam

The Open Space Mediation Jam, held at the Brooklyn Lyceum, offers a safe, quiet, meditative hoop space to local hoopdancers and flow artists, so that we may experience the power and energy of shared ritual. The event consists of a well-crafted 3 hour (5-8 PM) long playlist that serves as the backdrop to full, deep and completely undisturbed meditation in the hoop. Check out the Facebook Event.

Ok so I know its freezing out but thats why we have an outdoor heater! We are also acquiring a second one hopefully by Weds! We will have hot cocoa, tea and an indoor area where you can warm up! If you have performers insurance, please send me your certificate, if not, you will need to attend the safety class at 7:45. Everyone will be asked to sign a waiver. Come play with us from 8-11 PM.
